Back when swing dancing was all the rage (in the late 90's), Jessica got a taste of the dance, but couldn't find a place to dance when it all died out. Then, in 2004-05, she stumbled across a handmade sign on a college bulletin board and quickly joined and helped found the Memphis lindy hop organization, Red Hot Lindy Hop. She attended her first workshop (and got her first birthday jam) after six months of dancing and has been loving it from the first step, step, triple step. She moved to Knoxville shortly after that and began teaching and DJing there. She has taught in Little Rock and teaches in Memphis with a strong inclination towards styling, technique, intuitive movement, and musicality.
